Sprouted Moong Dal Idli

Sprouted-Moong-Dal-Idli - healthy recipes for bariatric surgery patients

INGREDIENTS:

  • Sprouted green moong dal – 2 cups

  • Curd – 1 cup

  • Carrot grated – 1 cup

  • Curry leaves – 10-12 chopped

  • Salt to taste

  • Baking soda – ½ teaspoon

  • Oil – 1 teaspoon

METHOD:

  • Grind the sprouts and make paste.

  • Add grated carrot, curd, curry leaves, salt and baking powder.

  • Mix well and leave it for 10 minutes.

  • Then add 1 teaspoon of oil.

  • Put the batter in idlimould.

  • Cook for 5 minutes.

  • Serve it with your favorite chutney.
